Guest Speaker - Nick Sanchez 07.07.2024
Hello! I am Nick Sanchez (he/him), and I am happy to be serving as the ministerial intern over at WellSprings Congregation in Chester Springs, PA. With the help of my congregation, staff, and the supervision of Rev. Lee Paczulla, I am going through a hands-on learning experience helping me on my path to becoming a fellowshipped Unitarian Universalist minister. I keep a busy schedule preaching on Sundays, planning and running small group discussions, providing one-on-one spiritual care, helping out with YouthSpirit or the band, and anywhere else that WellSpringers need a helping hand.
I am a current Aspirant for Ministry within the UUA, hoping to seek Preliminary Fellowship in
the Summer of 2025. But, I am also a husband, father, friend, and jack-of-all trades. I bring a
wide range of experience to ministry from leading meditation groups, repairing small electronics, managing teams, building furniture, cooking up and serving new recipes ā even locksmithing. I am in a journey program at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO working on my Master of Divinity degree. This means that I live, work, and study here in Pennsylvania, but I travel to Colorado for a few weeks every year to enrich my learning. I am really enjoying my theological studies ā find me if you ever want to grab a cup of coffee and talk about spirituality, theology, philosophy, or belief. When Iām not ministering, studying, or working my other job as a construction project estimator, I love spending time with my one year old daughter, Willow, going for long walks exploring with my furry dog, Baxter, reading, gaming, woodworking, and talking with friends over a cup of coffee.
