Transylvanian High School Choir Coming to MLUC

The János Zsigmond Unitarian High School Choir from Kolozsvár, Transylvania, Romania will visit MLUC April 15–18. The choir will perform in the Main Meeting Room Wednesday, April 16 at 7 p.m.

This visit offers a special opportunity for MLUC. The 40 choir members and five chaperones, of whom two are Unitarian ministers, are looking forward to staying in the homes of MLUC members. They will need housing overnight April 15, 16, and 17, breakfast each morning, and transportation to and from MLUC. They have a full schedule of sightseeing and rehearsal.

Students from our Partner Church in Várfalva attend the János Zsigmond Unitarian High School as boarders. They are supported by annual scholarships provided by the Partner Church Committee on behalf of the MLUC congregation. “MLUC Room” appears on a plaque outside one of the dorm rooms, honoring the church for our contributions.
