Planting Seeds and Getting into Good Trouble

As we enter the New Year, we find ourselves amidst a mix of celebrations and uncertainty. This January, many will honor the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while also reflecting on the tragic events of the insurrection that tested our nation’s spirit. At the same time, many are anxiously looking ahead to the uncertainties of the new President’s term.

Join us on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. for an inspiring gathering featuring Yvette McDonnell, Spiritual Companion, Ritualist, and UU Aspirant. She will share her story about the importance of "Planting Seeds and Getting into Good Trouble." Her insights are drawn from the compelling documentary "John Lewis: Good Trouble," which encourages us to actively embrace our role in shaping a better future.

Music: David Brown, violin/voice; Nathan Surles, guitar/voice; Jodie Brown, piano
