Wellness, Resilience, and Resistance through Poetry & Music

Thursdays, March 13, March 20, March 27 & April 3
12–1 p.m.

Our well-being is deeply intertwined with the well-being of others. During these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to care for our own spirit and soul. Prioritizing our individual wellness can help us build resilience, which serves as a powerful act of resistance. Let’s take a moment to breathe, to rest, and to nurture our hearts with hope. Through the healing beauty of poetry and music, we can find solace and connection. Join Yvette McDonnell, Congregational Life Coordinator, as she guides and accompanies us in this shared ministry event.

All sessions are drop-in and low pressure. If you are interested in receiving the weekly poem with the option to drop in when available, please fill out the registration form below.

Every Monday, a beautiful poem and thought-provoking reflection prompts will arrive in your inbox, inviting you to pause and reflect. Then, each Thursday at 12 p.m., we will gather together on Zoom for Wellness, Resilience, and Resistance Through Poetry & Music. This is a space where everyone is embraced and held in deep, generous listening, fostering connection and understanding among all participants.

This sacred ritual space is rooted in social justice, equity, and countering oppressions.
