What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund supports our yearly operating budget which covers the daily expenses for worship and music each week, programming for adults and children, our caring ministry, and our service and support for our ministry partners through outreach.
What is an Annual Pledge?
Each family, members and friends of MLUC, is asked to make an annual pledge, a commitment of financial support in the next church fiscal year, so that the staff and Board may be good stewards in planning the range of our initiatives and yearly expenses and expenditures.
How much should I pledge?
We hope you will give generously to support the community and mission of MLUC for this upcoming year, July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, in accordance with your means. Every pledge matters. Our beloved community and our work supporting partners and others in the greater communities is needed now more than ever. We are happy to talk with you and answer any questions about pledging (stewardship@mluc.org).
When do I need to submit my Annual Pledge form?
We are asking for pledges by the end of March to enable our Board and staff to plan the programming and staffing and finalize the budget for the coming year. If you cannot make your pledge by the end of March, please let Griselda Lapasia, our Congregational Administrator, know when you can make your annual pledge. Email Griselda.
How do I make payments to fulfill my Annual Pledge?
Annual Fund pledges can be paid by a one time gift or set up as recurring payments in a number of ways: by check, online by credit or debit card, through Bill Pay from your bank, and by donating securities directly or from an IRA, DAF (donor advised fund) or other fund. What if I can’t complete my Annual Pledge?
Life happens and sometimes one can’t complete their entire pledge due to unforeseen circumstances. That’s OK. Please let Griselda Lapasia, our Congregational Administrator, know so we can adjust budget plans accordingly. Email Griselda.
